Squash - Silver Medal

So I got a silver medal for squash. Was a bit disappointed as I know I could have gotten the gold but somehow nerves get in the way and it takes me a few games to get into things! Played against ladies from Singapore and Ireland too. My friend from the SA team grabbed the gold! Muscles still pretty stiff from the squash but went for a massage just now so sure by tomorow they'll be ready for the racewalk.

The opening ceremony was AMAZING... truly breathtaking. Yesterday we were supporting lawn bowls and swimming and today I'm trying to rest as I woke up with sore throat :-( Hopefully it's from cheering or aircon and I'm not getting sick. Will also be speaking at a Donor Rememberance Ceremony later today.
