I don't find it offensive, but definitely daring! At best, it might at least get people to stop and look before turning the page. But I don't think many people in that "target" audience are going to give organ donation serious consideration. Of course, I would be wrong. It's happened before.
I'm not sure it is offensive as such but it is definitely crude. Can't say I like it or think it is good advertising but perhaps I am just being a prude and it will prove to be effective advertising.
Offensive maybe to some people but it hits a demographic target that normally wouldn't even care about a donor ad let alone become a donor!!! So it does serve a purpose.
Most people wouldn't want to see this on a billboard on the side of a freeway but in Playboy or Maxim...YES!! I think it's clever.
Interesting Idea... would probably stop and stare at it for a while not sure what to make of it but i agree that it does reach a demographic that have probably never even considered becoming a doner.
I'm Stephanie and as president of Re-Born to be alive, I'd like to spend a few words on the advertisement.
First it's a fact that this is the most discussed advertisement about organ donation. And that was just our purpose... We wanted an advertisement where people would talk about.
And that worked, but people also get an important message about becoming an organ donor. That's more important then the lady on the pic...
We didn't want another typical poster about this important theme, because people walk by and don't think about it.
This poster is a belgian production and it has travelled the world, was on many blogs (like here, many thanks to Alice), sites, papers, magazines...
It has nothing to do with being unrespectful about organdonors or anything like that, I'm transplanted too (2x double lungs) and very grateful for these chances...

For Alice,
We'll probably meet in 2 months, 'cause I'm also coming to Australia for the world transplant games :) See you there and good luck with your trainings!

It definitely makes you think! I had to think for a second - and i still don't know if i understand it entirely!
Oh wait, now I do.
I think it's good.
Hahaha, you're funny Bree :-) It's a good thing if you first had to think about it! Means you have a pure mind :-p
I think it's a bit crude, but I'm sure it might be effective.
I say offensive.
They did this double meaning on purpose.
Shame.
omg!
Very offensive!
I think it might get people taking!! Little bit daring, but not offensive at all for me. At least she will get noticed.
This reminds me off the type of marketing Nando's might use

Makes you think - had to go and look at it again and it is very clever......then again you cant please all the people all the time....
I find it crude but imagine it probably has something to do with my age as "anything" seems to be okay these days.
Kontroversieel! Pas nie by so edele daad nie.
Sexist Ali, to both men and women! Will spark debate though. Not sure though if the nature of the debate won't cloud the seriousness of the issue.

I think it is a fabulous idea. Sex sells these days so why can't organ donation pick up on it too!
i think its awesome, but they'd have to be very selective where they advertise. that would be great on college campuses, bars/clubs...
very awesome.
