Quick post

Don't have time for a long post now, but won't be back 'till Friday afternoon, so thought I HAVE to blog a bit!!!

Thanks for all the encouraging comments on the last post, it meant a lot to me. My cold is still lingering around. Saw the Dr yesterday. My lung function was an abortion because I start coughing when I blow. But I still don't have a fever and feel a lot better than last week, and my blood results are better. No more toxic tacro levels and kidneys are recovering.

I'm off to Pretoria now, looking forward to keeping busy a bit!!!

Hi!

I just wanted to say hello and let you know that I'm a big fan of your blog. Reading your updates really makes my day and your demonstration of strength helps me appreciate my life more. Sorry to be so gushy, but you truly are an inspiration.

I am still thinking of your last post. I know a lot of the people who read the blogs believe in God. It gives them comfort to know that God is looking after them. Sometimes, I am more logical and less spiritual in my thinking. I think about how an organ donor gave you a part of himself or herself, so you could live and be happy and healthy. I think about what an amazing gift you have received. And I think about how you show respect for that gift by being as healthy as you can and living each day.

Sadly, some people are able to find health and others are not. I have always believed it is more science and health and timing, with a hint of spirituality and support.

I am sure it is normal to question things when you see other people with your condition do poorly. Keep smiling. You are adorable when you smile.

Plus, sometimes, reading CF blogs makes me sad. It is nice to come and visit your blog or Steven's and hear your stories. It is nice to be reminded that a happy ending is possible. (Of course, sometimes it does make me smile the way Bree curses, even if its not always good news.)
