Alice is awake!

Alice is doing fine. She is not under sedation anymore, but still on the ventilators. The doctor is very satisfied with her condition, but her white blood count is high.

Wonderful news! Will be praying for increasing strength, her body's acceptance of the new lungs, and for the white count to be just where it is supposed to be!

Very glad to hear she is awake and doing fine. When I had my double lung transplant my white blood count was very high, Its nothing to worry about. Not knowing Alice long, and only via online correspondence; I am amazed how strong a character she is, I do know she is a very lucky girl and am amazed at her recovery speed; It is absolutely fantastic news, and I am smiling from ear to ear over here in Australia.

It is a testament to Alice's character that she is recovering so well.

Much love.
